hello again washington dc we meet again after 2 years I just recently came back from Washington DC and had the absolute privilege of riding the WMATA system (fun fact: this was my first metro experience). While there, I got to see many of the metro's various features and quirks (of course, from a tourist's lens, which definitely skews things), and wanted to think about a more whole approach to improving transit in DC. WMATA as a system, at least as I saw it, tends to be very strong overall (at least in the urban core), but could definitely see some service improvements. Since DC and Baltimore are very interconnected transit-wise, I decided to include both in this map (also fulfils my goal of making a Baltimore map) NOTES: Infill stations added for WMATA and SubwayLink TOD is built at WMATA park and ride stations Huge thanks to Wobs100 for the alignment on the Annapolis Line South!
