A World-Class Philadelphia Transit Upgrade (WIP) by

This is like my Chicago map, but for Philadelphia. This is my third attempt at a realistic fantasy Philadelphia transit upgrade map. NOTES: - Not included in the map, but this scenario also includes modern vehicles, increased frequencies, upgraded and cleaner stations, and a fully integrated fare system between SEPTA, PATCO, and NJ Transit (Potentially Amtrak as well, but that's not featured on this map). Essentially, pretty much everything is better. - PATCO extension to Penn Medicine complete, Broad Ridge Spur also follows the right of way, probably underground as both systems use different rail gauges. - Roosevelt Boulevard Extension resource map: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Roosevelt_Boulevard_Subway_Map.png - The Broad Airport Spur is designed to add direct connectivity between South Philadelphia and Philadelphia Int'l Airport. - The Market - Delaware adds much-needed connectivity to Philadelphia's southern waterfront, allowing for quicker, easier transit connections. This line is meant to serve as a local service for the area. - Glassboro - Camden Line: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glassboro%E2%80%93Camden_Line - PATCO is also extended to Glassboro, acting as an express service to the Glassboro - Camden Line - PATCO service expanded to an entire network of high-speed metro services. - Regional Rail extensions, such as the Media - Wawa line to West Chester and a new branch of the Norristown Line to Reading. New Express Metro - like service surrounds South Philadelphia. - Previous suburban trolley lines (103 and 104) have been restored. (Trolley routes taken from this map: https://metrodreamin.com/view/T1JJZWlMNjRSZ2FEQWNBeld1Q1k4cFY0QXlXMnw2NA%3D%3D) - A rail bridge has been constructed paralleling the Walt Whitman Bridge, carrying NJ Transit services into South Jersey. - Extensions have been done to some lines (Ex. L1 and T5) to provide transfers to other parts of the extended network. - A bunch of new NJ Transit Light Rail lines have been added east of the Delaware River to aid in suburban connectivity in New Jersey. - Lines such as the Ridge - Roxborough are inspired by this map: https://metrodreamin.com/view/T1JJZWlMNjRSZ2FEQWNBeld1Q1k4cFY0QXlXMnwyNg%3D%3D - The metro services paralleling regional rail in West Philadelphia work as intermediary services, more local than regional rail and faster than the trolleys. - Some trolley routes use this map: http://www.phillytrolley.org/1990_Philly_track-map.pdf and https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fy9alg1i7ruc81.png -New PATCO Lines inspired from/copied from https://metrodreamin.com/view/T1JJZWlMNjRSZ2FEQWNBeld1Q1k4cFY0QXlXMnw5Mg%3D%3D (some stations are different and some alignments differ as well) There were a bunch of @PennRail maps that inspired this map.
