Tampa Bay Metro - Version with BRTs

The Metro RRT and BRT operates 5AM - 1AM M-Th, 5AM-3AM Fri, 6AM-3AM Sat, and 6AM-1AM Sun. The headway is 10 minutes M-F from 6AM-8PM and Sat-Sun from 8AM-6PM. At all other times, the headway is 15 minutes. The RRT uses automated train operations via a CBTC signaling system. When running at grade in the median of surface roads, the RRT has full traffic signal priority that's connected to the Metro's CBTC system. When running at grade and not in the median of a road, the system uses four quadrant crossing gates. The RRT system has a grade of automation of level 2, semi-automatic train operation. The BRT system primarily runs in dedicated busways/lanes in the medians of roads, predominantly surface roads. When not in dedicated lanes, the BRT runs in mixed traffic. When utilizing the busways/lanes, the BRT system has traffic signal priority at the same level as the RRT. The BRT primarily uses hybrid and electric articulated busses.
