This is my transit plan for Hawaii if I was governor or given a chance to redesign it. This map focuses in expanding transit through the state since transit in other islands don't connect so well :(. Hawaii already has so many urban areas and yet the some islands dont have good transit. Here is a map of what Hawaii Transit should like. With frequencies, progress, rolling stock, and grading for HSR(The Big Island grading is WIP) Progress --OAHU--✅️ Hawaiian State Railways-100% Bus-100% Urban rail-100% --MAUI--✅️ Hawaiian State Railways-100% Bus-100% Urban rail-100% --HAWAII-- Hawaiian State Railway-100% Bus-0% Urban rail-0% --LANAI--❌️ (Stats coming soon) --MOLOKAI--❌️ (Stats coming soon) --LIHUE--❌️ (Stats coming soon) NOTE Skyline included All Transit lines in Honolulu that are restricted to civilians 30 Ford Island(Transit for Aiea)-Ford Island part only(during weekends, the bus route will stop at all Ford Island stops, but at weekdays, they instead continue to Pearl Harbor Aviation Musuem.) Due to this, border control is done before entering Ford Island. Wakaha and Kunia Camp lines-the section between Hickam and Iroquois Point stations, because of this, 2 tph at each lines skip these stations. Haleiwa line-Wahiawa station because of proximity to Wheeler Army Airfield, 3 tph skip this station. Due to mountainous areas, transit of rural areas of the islands are unlikely to happen. The Kapaeloa Connects the Terminus of the Haleiwa and Sunset Beach Lines and services the North Shore. All Urban Rail and Hawaiian State Railway stations, and Hawaiian State Ferries ports are accessible. All islands share the same transit card. The Honolulu Skyline and Tram are owned by different companies, so they are not connected. Hawaiian State Ferries only transfer stops are at Union stations. The Hilo SuperLINX(which is by now still planned) is a replacement bus for the Captain Cook Line when their are major delays between the Hilo and Kailua Kona section.
