My personal MBTA extensions! This was created without consideration to feasibility or possibility. Light Rail (No mixed traffic running, traffic light priority, etc) * GL-D has taken over the Fitchburg Line ROW from Brandeis/Roberts to the current terminus at Union Sq to run in a loop. * GL-F runs to Boylston using the Pleasant St Portal and follows the Washington Ave Elevated alignment, replacing the SL4 and SL5. Service at Nubian may be on Washington St, rather than entering the station area proper. * ML is the outermost circumferential line and serves outer towns (Stoneham, Burlington, Lexington, North Newton, East Dedham, and Milton). Shares rolling stock with the Green Line. * RL-M runs to the southern end of Blue Hill Ave. Uses CAF Type 9s formerly on the Green Line. Regional Rail (20 minute headways to close-in cities, hourly otherwise) * SCR Phase 2 is active, rerouting Fall River and New Bedford trains along the Stoughton Branch. * Former Middleborough/Lakeville Line has been extended to Bourne. The Cape Cod Rail Bridge has been rebuilt to allow constant service. * Framingham-Middleborough Line runs along freight and former right of way. Increased service to Gillette Stadium during events from Framingham and Providence along the NEC. * Foxboro Line has been extended to Foxboro proper and Mansfield. * Fitchburg Line has been rerouted into South Station, interlining with the Worcester Line from Auberndale to South Station. * Needham Line has been replaced by OL-A. * Lowell Line has been extended to Nashua and has been renamed to the Nashua Line. Silver Line has been extended to have transfers at Chinatown and Boylston. Subway (Night service extended to 2:30 am, 4-5 minute peak, 8-10 minutes day offpeak, 16-20 minutes nights (midnight - end of service), Go4 automation) Blue Line * BL-A has been extended on both ends to Waltham and Peabody. * BL-B branches at Aquarium and runs to Blue Hill Ave and Beverly. * BL-C ? Orange Line * OL-A replaces the Needham Line and has been extended to connect with GL-D and ML at Newton Highlands. * OL-B extends down to Islington via Dedham. May run in the median of a road dieted Providence Highway. Red Line * RL-A runs to Prospectville. * RL-B extended to Bedford via Lexington and Arlington along the Minuteman Rail Trail alignment. Added an infill station at Neponset. Yellow Line * YL-A is the intermediate circumferential line and serves Winthrop, Chelsea, Medford, North Cambridge, Brookline, Jamaica Plain, Dorchester, and Neponset. Connects with the BL-A and BL-B, SL3, Newburyport/Rockport Lines, OL-A and OL-B, GL-E and GL-D, RL-A and RL-B, GL-C and GL-D (again), OL-A and OL-B (again), BL-B (again), Fairmount Line, RL-A (again), RL-M, and RL-B (again). Shares rolling stock with the Orange Line. * YL-B is the innermost circumferential line. Shares rolling stock with the Red Line.
