Topo Donostia: Separation from regionals into a proper metro system with a frequency of 10 min or better. Createve reuse of the newly abandoned tunnel and Amara station for regional trains. Tranvía Vitoria: No changes, good job Metro Bilbao: Construction of planned extensions to Galdakao Hospital and Airport. Separation of L3 from regionals, and addition of a new branch L4. Tranvía Bilbao: Construction of a planned extension to Zorrotzaurre and completion of the circle line. Conversion of the former Euskotren E3 (Lutxana-Lezama) to a tram. Re-conversion of Atxuri back into a train station and thus abandonment of the southern tram section. Euskotren: Rebranding of all cercanías under a single Euskotren brand. Cercanías de Bilbao E1 3 tph (every 20 min) E2 3 tph (every 20 min) E3 4 tph Laudio, 2 tph Orduña, 1 tph Miranda de Ebro Cercanías de Vitoria E4 1 tph Cercanías de San Sebastián E5 2 tph Irun-Zumarraga, 1 tph Altsasu Narrow gauge Euskotren E11 2 tph, all the way between Bilbao and San Sebastián E12 2 tph E13 2 tph, extended to Laredo where the narrow gauge will terminate and connect to the new high-speed line to Santander E14 2 tph E21 reinforces E11 between Ermua and Azitain to a 15 min frequency E30 4 daily departures. Operated by Euskotren until Mataporquera, continues to León in cooperation with Castilla y León. Narrow gauge lines could be eventually converted to standard gauge after the main Spanish network switches. Since that will take a long time if it ever happens, they remain separate for now.
