please excuse my need for perfect half-mile intervals between these stations also the color scheme is just for basic ordering, the colors of the rainbow have a universally accepted order so i used them. i am not gay lol Explanation for one station: 1. Start with one end of your line (the western section of "Main Line" stations). Create the "Turning Point" station and the "Station Where Turning Back Happens". 2. Add an extra station that you will then delete to the tail end of the line. 3. Make a loop in the line at "Turning Point". 4. Continue your line at least one station (the eastern "Main Line" station). 5. Delete the extra station. Explanation for multiple stations: 1. Start with one end of your line (the western section of ("Main Line" stations). Create the "Turning Point" station, all of the "Double-Served Station" stations (there can be as many as you want, and they can even be waypoints), and at the end, the "Station Where Turning Back Happens". 2. Add an extra station that you will then delete to the tail end of the line. 3. Make a loop in the line at the "Double-Served Station" that is the CLOSEST to the "Station Where Turning Back Happens". 4. Add another extra station that you will then delete to the tail end of the line. Make sure that it's on the other side of the line as the first extra station. 5. Make a loop in the line at the next "Double-Served Station". 6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until you reach the "Turning Point" station. The line composed of extra stations should zig-zag across the original line. 7. Continue your line at least one station (the eastern "Main Line" station). This might be janky, so if it auto-snaps to a point that's not the tail end of the line, add some more extra stations to reroute it to the correct place. 8. Delete all the extra stations.
