Alanya is currently one of the largest districts in the Turkish Province of Antalya, with more than 300,000 residents and even more tourists visiting it. It might not be a city large enough for this kind of rail network, but it is a quite linear city, making an actually quite decent place to build a rail network, so I tried. AlanRay is the backbone of the entire public transit in Alanya. It is a heavy rail rapid transit corridor running near the coastline, transporting tourists, hotel workers and also the suburban residents of Kestel and Mahmutlar. Bus and tram transfers also makes it accessable and useful to the whole city. The express line makes it faster to reach larger distances along the line, only stopping at certain stations. It would be built after the Antalya-Mersin highway would be relocated to bypass the city, creating an unused road section allowing AlanRay to be constructed near the coastline. To draw local and tourist ridership, and to minimize visual pollution; it would be going on their right-of-way at the ground level, only being elevated after Mola Intersection (the roundabout a bit upwards from the marine port when the eastern portion of the beaches end), and the stations would also be built with outstanding architecture to add to the cities touristic attractiveness. Alanya Trams, with 40x codes are the classic trams that connect most parts of the city to eachother, with its fleet consisting of old, small, retired european trams brought to be refurbished and put to service. They operate even in the tightest of old city streets going along with pedestrians, connect the rural villages and valleys, and even go through the LRT tunnels. 410 and 411 are the LRT lines compatible with the rest of the tram network, that consists of modern, higher capacity tram vehicles, and is grade seperated with tunnels and viaducts in most parts of the route, unlike most of the 4xx tram lines. It doesn't mean that there aren't any street-running parts of the track, but those are quite minimal. All stations including those that are shared with other lines are quite modern and accessable, similar to the newer sections in the AntRay network of the neighboring city, Antalya.
