The first route is a east midlands connect service from London St. Pancras to Corby every 30 minuets throughout the day the second route is from London St. Pancras to Nottingham that has 2 trains and hour but 1 of these trains call at Loughborough East midlands parkway and Beeston also another 1 of these trains splits at Kettering and heads towards Melton Mowbray the third route is an intercity service from London to Sheffield with 2 trains and hour and 1 of these trains calling at Loughborough east midlands parkway and long Eaton also 2 trains a day call at Belper The forth line is Leister to Grimsby town winch has 1 train every 2 hours to Grimsby There is also 1 train a day that extends to Cleethorpes The fifth route is also from leister but at the other end of the line it terminates at Lincoln this route has 1 train every 2 hours The sixth route is the longest route on the network the Liverpool to Norwich via Manchester Sheffield Nottingham were some trains start and terminate Next we have a hourly service from Nottingham to Skegness via Grantham some stations ae served far less than this after that we have an hourly service from Peterborough to Lincoln central via Sleaford some train travel further to Doncaster and a late night train to Newark north gate (Not shown on map) Another Farley sizable route is the Crewe to Newark castle 1 an hour there is also a hourly service from Matlock from Nottingham and from Nottingham to Worksop There are also 4 trains a day from Newark north ate to Lincoln central on the east coast main line There are 2 trains every hour between Cleethorpes and Barton on Humber And finally to summarise it all off there is a very rare train in the early hurt from Nottingham to Norwich via Melton Mowbray An any time single between Liverpool lime street and Norwich will set you back £124.20 and £205.70 for returns there are to main depots on the network including 1 near Derby and the other near Nottingham its also known for storing strain down in Bedford The East midlands railway franchise is a little complicated dating back until 1982 where two divisions of British rail were involved regional and intercity on march 1987 regional railways was privatised into 8 different franchises .Anglia railways .first north western central trains .central trains .Arriva Merseyside .Arriva northern .Wales & west .Valley lines .scotrail the one of interest to us is central trains who operated until march1997-november 2007 Central trains operated mostly Wales/Midlands region Intercity was dispended into six sectors .Virgin trains cross-country .Midland mainline .GNER .GW rail Virgin trains .Anglia railways in 2007 the DFT awarded midland mainline An central trains who became Est midlands railway
