Currently an ongoing map so some lines may end randomly or go in places that are not practically possible. Metro Manila is one of the most dense cities in Southeast Asia and the world, with a population of over 13,000,000 people spanning 636 sq km including 16 cities and a few surrounding provinces. However, it severely lacks a consistent and stable public transportation network, with only 3 light rail lines (LRT 1, LRT 3, MRT 3 circa 2025) and the rest of the metropolis relying on Jeepneys, UV Express vans, tricycles, etc. on an underdeveloped road and near non-existent rail network. This has led me say to anyone visiting or living long term here that "if you want to get around here easy, you need a car.", but then you remember that not everyone can afford a car in this economy. It takes a good third of the day to cross 12km, more so if you need to get from Navotas to Muntinlupa. This map challenges that idea, with a better idea, of what it could look like if it didn't take so arduously long to get from one side of NCR to another without wasting time waiting at a "tricycle terminal" which is just a covered portion of a bare concrete sidewalk, or flagging down a jeepney right next to a noisy main road overflowing with.
