It would be too much work to include local buses, so I left those out. A good case against the MTA's choice of light rail by John Pegram: https://bqrail.substack.com/p/fact-checking-the-mtas-interborough Perhaps the best option for the long term is looking into a subway car that is compatible with the rest of the B Division of the NYC Subway but can handle the narrower tunnels of the ROW and possibly tighter curves if needed in future extensions. There is also a case to be made for compatibility with the LIRR or Metro North fleets, as C&J pointed out in the comments section. Feel free to post your own maps and extension ideas in the comments and I might add them if I have time!
