Inlet line from Park Royal to Kerrisdale (33 km, 16 stations, 43 min, interchanges at PNE, Brentwood, Metrotown, and Oakridge-41st Avenue) - Reduces congestion for North Shore commuters - Adds Dunbar, Kerrisdale, 41st/49th Avenue corridor, North Shore, and BCIT to the SkyTrain network - Connects with all other lines outside of the city centre to better spread demand 4. Millennium line: South Surrey branch from Lougheed to South Surrey (28 km, 14 stations, 36 min, interchange at King George) - Provides central/southern Surrey with direct access to the Vancouver core and UBC - Adds Coquitlam centres of Maillardville and Fraser Mills to the network - Provides Inter-Surrey SkyTrain link - Provides South of Fraser relief/redundancy for overcrowded Expo line - Fewer transfers from Surrey to SFU/Tri-Cities 5. Expo line: Hastings extension from Waterfront to Burnaby Heights (8 km, 8 stations, 13 min, interchange at PNE) - Provides service to underutilized Hastings corridor - Interchanges with the Inlet line to allow North Shore commuters with rail access to Downtown 6. Fraser Valley Express: new service from Vancouver City Centre station to Chilliwack (102 km, 12 stations, 78 min) - New service to leverage the Highway 1 corridor for a fast link between the Burrard Peninsula, Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, and Chilliwack - Corridor improvements to interline Amtrak Cascades and freight operations in Burnaby 7. Amtrak Cascades speed and frequency improvements: - Corridor improvements to allow for higher speeds on existing Amtrak Cascades routes from Vancouver to Eugene, Oregon including a new corridor through South Surrey to avoid the winding coastal route - Additional station in South Surrey to increase utility of the line for SoF users, preventing having to backtrack all the way to Pacific Central and to connect with the Millennium line 8.
