Sherbrooke Street Railway - 1931 Map

Sherbrooke used to run a complete and highly functional tramway system. On opening night, Sherbrooke was the smalled North American city (30 000 residents) with a tram network. It operated from 1897 to 1931, closed because of financial hardships with the arrival of the automobile. At the end of its life, five lines were in use, spanning almost all of the city. Remnants of the old tracks were visible for almost thirty years, being completely removed in the 1960s. The lines you can see might not be 100% accurate, the information I could gather to research this transit system was incomplete and also lacked when it came to stations. I worked with very little information, but I am still pretty confident of the accuracy of this map.
