my personal concept for a fourth Sound Transit ballot measure - hopefully coming soon, probably 2028! included capital projects: - Extra money for ST3, since right now the allocated funds are probably not enough... - Lake City Link Extension [1 Line] - Westwood Link Extension [3 Line] - Totem Lake Link Extension [4 Line] - Sounder S Line service improvements (up to 20m peak, 40m offpeak, 5am-12am) - ST3-designated provisional stations at Lakemont [4 Line] and Airport/Evergreen [3 Line] - Sounder infill stations at Duwamish [S Line], Georgetown [S Line], Broad Street/Waterfront [N Line], and Richmond Beach [N Line] - 4 more Sounder N Line roundtrips, bringing the line to 8 daily roundtrips - STRIDE S4 Line replaces Sound Transit Express route 542 - STRIDE S5 Line replaces Sound Transit Express routes 578 and 580, extending service to South Federal Way Station and Lakewood Station respectively - STRIDE S3B Line replaces 2/3 of trips on the S3 Line when the Lake City Link Extension opens - 3 Sound Transit Express routes added to Olympia Transit Centre, route 599 being an extension of existing route 594 - Route 512 extended to Smokey Point Transit Centre - Route 557 from Central Issaquah Station to Redmond Transit Centre opening dates: 2034: STRIDE S4 Line opens 2036: STRIDE S5 Line opens 2041: White Centre Link Extension opens 2045: Totem Lake Extension opens, with provisions for an infill station at Crestwood Park 2046: Lake City Extension opens, with provisions for an infill station at Victory Heights 2046: STRIDE S3B Line opens, diverting most S3 Line service to Lake City Station, with every third trip continuing to Shoreline South Station (Paramount Park Station) political changes: - subarea equity is replaced with a "pay more, get more" model, allowing Sound Transit to better allocate funds to where they're needed more - the Sound Transit PTBA is extended to include the cities of Lacey, Olympia, South Hill, Marysville, and Smokey Point
