Lots of actual research and countless hours designing, refining, and drawing out these lines; especially the East Coast HSR. A lot of the allignments follow ridges, plateaus, flats and medians I find on Satellite view, so the routes are as realistic as possible. It is part of the Opal Network and can also sometimes include extra stops at Watsons Bay and Taronga Zoo maybe IDK for sure Notes: - Individual maps of transport (e.g. a map with Metro only, or Ferries only) will be created once that specific mode of transport is fully completed on this map. - I have tried to make this map as realistic-unrealistic as possible; by that they follow a realistic alignment but are highly unlikely to be ever built if Minns ever stays in power. - All ferries are relatively unchanged except for the F10 being rerouted to the new Fish Markets and a new direct service from Circular Quay - Trains are also relatively unchanged, except for the T7 becoming part of the T6 which in a whole is now the T3 and an all-stops service similar to the T2 along the main west corridor from Olympic Park to Sydney Terminal, like the current T7 event trains but worse :) - I rerouted the B-Line for a detour into Victoria Cross, as Building Beautifully will tell you about clogging the Harbour Bridge and Single-Seat Journeys in his Northern Beaches video. (I am obviously from Australia and not so obviously not an adult so I don't have YouTube to post a link to the video) - Light Rail has been thoroughly extended and expanded upon, and are generally anywhere between 12 and 17km long, acting more like a light rail and less like a right-of-way tram. We learn from Melbourne's miskates - You wouldn't know but all Heavy and Light Rail has been copied from maps I made on Tennessine Metro Map Maker. I just thought you should know - Chatswood on the M1 line is just called 'Chatswood' rather than 'Chatswood Metro' because the station is a cross-platform transfer design. That means that there's two island platforms with one side Metro and the other side trains, so it goes like this: Train, (platform), Metro, Metro, (platform), Trains - The M5 line will be highly unlikely to follow the alignment of the M1, but for the life of me I couldn't find a better route because the M3 already steals the eastern side. *Edit, the M3 and M5 got a reroute - The 170X from Manly to City Wynyard does not get a massive frequency boost, cause it no longer exists on this map -This is not branched, but heavily inspired by Isaak Smith's map; Sydney | Trains, Metro, Ferries and Light Rail | Fantasy. Go check out his awesome map too! -The L6 between East Balmain and Barangaroo is now very realistic cause I rerouted it -Due to the B1 navigating through twisty terrain on Barrenjoey Road, only some services run to Palm Beach -The BeachLink and BayLink are operated by the same company. They are both free and run 10 minute frequency (Manly) and 3 minutes (Rhodes) peak, and 15 minutes (Manly) and 7 minutes (Rhodes) off peak If you have gotten this far down and read all this, get a job man.
