This map is segmented out by phase of construction, with the Initial Interim Operating Segment being part of Phase 1, while the Sacramento and San Diego portions are part of Phase 2. This map makes no claim about potential service patterns for CAHSR when it is complete. Otherwise, the alignments shown are those being pursued/constructed (IOS/Phase 1/Northern Phase 2), or the alignments that I believe make the most sense for the HSR Authority to choose (Southern Phase 2). A line from Sacramento to San Diego is included for the sake of those who wish to use this map as a base for their own.
