Dallas-Fort Worth Rail & Bus Transit (WIP) Up To Date W/ Accurate Alignments

!!!DART BUS ROUTES 209, 225, 254, 255, 305, 378, & 383 WILL BE DISCONTINUED EARLY 2026!!! !!!DART BUS ROUTES 28, 41, & 47 WILL BECOME 128, 141, 147, AS MID-DAY BUS ROUTES EARLY 2026!!! !!!Dallas Convention Center Station Is Closed Until 2029 Due To Reconstruction Of The Convention Center!!! Every rail line station and bus route in the DFW Metroplex. (check back for updates on Trinity Metro and DCTA bus routes) With the State Fair of Texas now underway for the next 24 days, DART has a special rail line that runs every 10 minutes for the state fair. As of September 2025 there are 7 rail lines (3 transit agencies DART, Trinity Metro, and DCTA) in revenue service with 85 stations and a total of 175 miles of track serving the DFW Metroplex. DART Light Rail (Opened in June 1996) has 65 Stations with 4 light rail lines (Red, Blue, Green, Orange lines) that expands out to 95 miles of track. In 2024 DART announced they will be getting new LRVs to replace 95 out of the 163 of the existing SLRVs. New LRVs are set to run in service by 2029. (New LRV brand: TBA In Mid 2026) DART Silver Line Regional Rail (October 25th 2025) is DART's 26 mile east-west line that runs from Plano to DFW Airport Terminal B Station connecting with Trinity Metro TEXRail in Grapevine and will also have access with DART's Red, Green, and Orange lines, as well as DCTA A-Train in 2029. As of September 19th 2025 DART is doing simulated test runs everyday as their final stage of testing before revenue service starts October 25th. Trinity Railway Express (Opened December 1996) is a regional rail line that runs from Dallas to Fort Worth that expands out to 37 miles of track. This rail line has 10 stations. In Mid-2026 TRE is expected to receive 5 Siemens Chargers that they ordered back in February 2024. DCTA A-Train (Opened June 2011) is a regional rail line that runs from Carrollton to Denton that expands out to 21 miles of track. This rail line has 6 stations. In January 2025 DCTA announced that the A-Train will expand south to Downtown Carrollton to connect with DART's Silver Line to make it an easier transfer to DFW Airport and other parts of the Northern Dallas suburbs. Opening timeline: 2029 TEXRail (Opened January 2019) is a regional rail line from Downtown Fort Worth to DFW Airport. This line expands out to 27 miles of track. This rail line uses the Stadler FLIRT DMUs the first rail line to use FLIRTS in North America. In November 2024 Trinity Metro ordered more 4 more Stadler FLIRTS to their existing fleet. The new fleet will arrive in Early 2027. It's taking awhile to complete this but, it will look insane once it's finished. Please star and comment as your support. Thanks!
