BART if it was built like the NYC Subway

This is a BART built in an alternate history starting in the early 20th century with elements of older East Coast systems- frequent stops, elevated lines, local/express service, routes via bridge, and branching trunk routes. 3 fictional private companies have built much of the route network before being consolidated into BART in the 1950s: Key System- This version of the Key built subways down San Pablo and Telegraph Avenues, Broadway, International Blvd, and 14th Street/MacArthur Blvd, along with the Alameda El. Many of these routes have been absorbed by SFMS services through the Transbay Tubes and West Oakland Connector (see below). Following a massive bidding war, the Key controversially won the rights to the Oakland Bay Bridge and Geary Street routes in 1932- a major factor leading to the creation of the municipal TBRT and later BART. SFMS- Once San Francisco's main rapid transit company- a merger of the Bayfront Railroad (Embarcadero/3rd St lines) and Market St Railroad. The Market St, Mission St, Judah St, and Embarcadero lines and corresponding branches were all built by the SFMS between 1915 and 1950. Originally, the SFMS had no trans-bay service. Following the creation of BART, the Transbay Tubes and West Oakland Connector opened in 1964 and allowed for full integration of the SFMS and Key networks. TBRT- San Francisco's IND, created in 1938 in the aftermath of the Geary/Bridge route bidding war. The City of San Francisco desired to build a line down Van Ness Ave and Broadway, but with no desire for private involvement following major cost overruns and delays on the Geary line and a major decline in service and reliability by the SFMS. In partnership with the state DOT, the TBRT opened the first trans-bay tunnel (the Emeryville Tube) in 1947, along with the Van Ness/Broadway route. The state DOT also strong-armed the SFMS into using the Mission St tracks to Bernal Heights, before building its own ROW to San Francisco International Airport. The TBRT also built its own routes to East Bay suburbs Richmond, Walnut Creek, Dublin, and Fremont (the real-life BART ROWs on this map), that were extended by BART following consolidation.
