Fantasy New York City Subway Upgrades

This is a mixed Fantasy/Future NYC Subway Map with things added based on future MTA plans and my own fantasies. Future: - F/M Swap. - Nostrand Avenue 3/5 swap. - DeKalb B/N Swap. - Inter-Borough Express. - Second Avenue Subway - Queenslink Fantasy: - N/R Swap: - R runs to Astoria. - N runs express in Manhattan and to Queens through 63rd street tunnel, where it runs local with the M to 71st Avenue. - 20th Avenue Station added in Astoria as new terminus to add Yard Access to R/W. - Enables extension of the G train to Queens Plaza. - D cross-town extension to Co-Op City. - Adds 6 more stops after 205th Street terminus on the D train. - Connects with the 2, 5, and 8 trains (see below). - Q cross-town extension to Broadway. - Adds 4 more stops after the 125th terminus of the SAS. - Connects all stations aligned on 125th Street. - IRT Jamaica: - 8 line (Elevated): - DOES NOT RUN ON HELLGATE BRIDGE. - Local Service from Gun Hill Rd - Bronx (2, 5) to Van Wyck - Main Street (Briarwood E, F) - Revives old 3rd Av subway in Bronx. - Direct connections to Randall's Island and LGA. - 9 line (Elevated/Underground in Manhattan): - Partial 1st Avenue Subway in Manhattan. - Inspired by LIC - Harding line plans in IND Second System. - Runs local from Delancey - Essex, to LIC/Astoria through 21st Street, then Express through Ditmars Blvd, 23rd Avenue, and parallel to GCP. - Local service after 8 terminates parallel to the Van Wyck. - Terminates at Metropolitan Avenue - Van Wyck. - IRT Cross Bronx Express - 10 line (Elevated): - Service between Flushing - Roosevelt Av (connection to 7 and LIRR) and 242st Van Cortland Park (connection to 1). - Initially conceived as a 7 train extension to Pelham Bay. - Connects to the 7 train at Queens terminus. - Runs parallel to the Whitestone Bridge - Serves from Schuyllerville to Pelham Bay Park, then follows Pelham Parkway, Southern Boulevard, Bedford Park Blvd and Mosholu Pkwy to Van Cortlandt. - Connects with every Bronx serving lines (1,2,4,5,6, B, and D). - Connections with MetroNorth in Bronx and LIRR in Queens. - May be extended to serve Queens College. - Cliffton Shuttle - Adds connection from Church Avenue (Brooklyn F, G) to Cliffton (SIR). - Was initially a branch of the F train. Could be changed to be a G train extension.
