This is a map of the current LA Metro system, with some of the planned extensions and new lines, as well as some of my own ideas. Additional notes: - This map only showcases rail lines. There's no BRT lines. (with the exception of a future conversion of the G Line from BRT to Light Rail). - Some rail line's take inspiration & ideas from popular YouTuber, Nandert. I recommend you watch his videos after viewing this map! - O Line's Marina Fwy section is in support of the proposal to remove the Marina Fwy. Currently existing lines: A Line B Line C Line D Line E Line G Line (Converted to Light Rail on this map.) "Balboa" renamed to "Lake Balboa" "Sherman Way" renamed to "Canoga/Sherman" "Roscoe" renamed to "Canoga/Roscoe" "Nordhoff" renamed to "Canoga/Nordhoff" (K Line) "Redondo Beach" renamed it's original name, "Marine" New Transit Centers: "Slauson" (A Line) becomes "Slauson Transit Center" because of the 3-line transfer Long Beach Airport gets a new transit center with the K and R Lines "North Hollywood" becomes "North Hollywood Transit Center" because the many buses already serving the station, as well as 2 rail lines. Burbank Airport gets an Intermodal Transit Center, because of a subway line, commuter rail line, and a future high speed rail connection. "Sepulveda" (G Line) becomes "Sepulveda - Van Nuys Transit Center" because the 2 Line transfer, as well as what will potentially be Metro's busiest rail corridor (S Line). "Vermont/Wilshire" becomes "Vermont Transit Center" Glendale gets a transit center at Brand/Broadway, because of 2 rail lines, surrounding bus connections, and 2 busy malls nearby.
