The Fresno Area Rapid Transit System (F.A.R.T. System) ~~~~~~~~~~ The A, B, C, and D Lines are subway-type rapid transit lines (Fresno Metro). The A LINE connects downtown Fresno to the new Riverstone development in southeast Madera County. It also serves Valley Children's Hospital, River Park, Manchester Mall, Fresno City College, and Chukchansi Park. Its terminal at Tulare Avenue/H Street serves as a transfer point to California High Speed Rail. The B LINE connects Old Town Clovis to Calwa via downtown, also serving Fresno-Yosemite Int'l Airport. The C LINE is a crosstown line using the Santa Fe right-of-way and Shaw Avenue, serving Figarden, Fashion Fair Mall, Fresno State University, and Sierra Vista Mall. The D LINE is a shuttle on Clovis Avenue connecting the Green Line to the Yellow Line. ~~~~~~~~~~ The E, F, and G Lines are streetcar lines. The F LINE connects northwest Fresno to the Fresno Fairgrounds via downtown using the Santa Fe right-of-way, Van Ness Boulevard, Fulton Street, and Butler Avenue. It also serves the Tower District. The E LINE serves Belmont Avenue between the Fresno Chaffee Zoo and First Street The G LINE serves Shields Avenue between Weber Avenue and Fresno Avenue, terminating at Harvard/Fresno at the V.A. Medical Center. ~~~~~~~~~~ The K Line is a high speed, light rail or interurban type line. The K LINE connects Kerman to Sanger via downtown Fresno, also serving destinations like Kearney Park, Fresno-Chandler Executive Airport, historic Huntington Boulevard, and Eastgate Mall.
