This regional rail network is designed to connect downtown Richmond with its neighboring cities and suburbs. It was inspired by a map I discovered on Reddit. Operator: DRPT(Virginia Department of Rail & Public Transportation) Name of network: River City Express Electrification: 25 kV 60 Hz AC Rolling stock: eight-car Stadler KISS160 trainsets Maximum speed: 110 mph(177 km/h) Frequency: every 10-15 minutes during rush hour(4 to 6 trains per hour), every 20 minutes(3 trains per hour) otherwise.
