Stuff gets changed, nothing is forever. Feel free to add ideas to make it crazier. My brain works in mysterious ways. *Stations don't have real names (I did name a few in the name of comedy). A hypothetical (not very realistic) future Toronto rapid transit system. Many thanks to ryandomo who made the current & in delivery TTC map (I was not looking forward to making line 1). I added the line 5 west expansion myself so it's probably weird, especially around YYZ where there isn't a confirmed tunnel route yet (I don't think at least, if there is one imagine I did it right) so I made one up, I don't think the tunnel will go under the runway but Metrolinx has done weirder. Mostly an attempt to learn the software and mess about, happy journey following my descent into madness (enjoy my humour). I also just remembered there’s a plan to build a transit hub under Viscount link station so imagine all the YYZ stuff is over there if you like that idea better. For the sake of my sanity existing streetcar and GO lines were omitted (I fear the 504, that one has letters). Uses current Metrolinx/TTC plans/concepts and a bit (a lot, like a lot a lot) of my own creativity, not super realistic I was just messing around mostly. Idek what line 4 is doing at this point. I tried to create as many interchanges between GO and other lines as possible (missed a few, oops welcome to North American transit). Station and line positions are not accurate to what would probably be built but the idea is there. The Hurontario LRT being disconnected (except GO) annoyed me, hence the line 2 and 3 connections (also why does every map use a different colour for it like pick one please). The Toronto North LRT isn't super realistic or really an actual idea, but it seemed neat and might help density in the suburbs. In general it's probably too much LRT, but Metrolinx seems to like them so. Line 8 was mostly because the gap in the west also irked me. I panicked and pick Jane as a name, it doesn't even follow Jane super often. Line 9 was a random decision. idek why I made it (For all the Scarborough -> HWY 27 commuters obvs). Line 10 was another of my crackpot ideas, the stations in the east on all the other lines all happened to align and I couldn't resist. Plus Downtown needs more subways. Just realized I have made line 1 but wider basically, same u shape. Line 11 came about because in the north the two branches of line 1 were too far apart, and also if we're building all these LRTs let's just upgrade an existing streetcar line (511 Bathurst) and the numbers lined up so it was fated. I stared adding random streetcars, I think they're neat. The 516 was an excuse to reuse the SRT depot, because it's right there. I then went off the deep end with this and added more regional rail lines because why not, there's a lot going on now. We need more GO stuff that doesn't serve Union because people go places that aren't Union (wow). This chapter shall be called my war on freight right of way. For the new section between Bolton and Orangeville, I didn't have a real right of way in mind so it's very strange and not at all real. But GO should start building more of its own tracks to places. *The GO interchange stations aren't as weird when you consider GO stations have massively long platforms.
