I'm very proud of this one and I've worked on it for a while (almost half a year now) I live in Austin so I have a very deep connection to this city and a good knowledge of the layouts and neighboorhoods as well. Right now only the CapMetro Northwestern Line exists in real life (irl it's called the CapMetro Red Line but I have my own naming system which I'll explain later) and the H, I, and L lines (called the Gold, Blue, and Orange lines respectively irl) are planned for construction in 2027. In my system, I included a very large heavy rail metro and light rail system. These are the main lines which people use to get from point to point in the city and in some suburbs. They use a letter system for line names; the A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K and L lines. These lines would all have 5 minute frequencies from 5:00 AM to 12:00 AM, and would have 15 minute frequencies during the rest of the time. The commuter system contains 6 lines. These lines mainly used for longer distance travels throughout the city as well as getting people from the suburbs into Downtown. This system would be fully electrified and would use ACS-64 locomotives and double decker passenger rolling stock. It would have 15 minute frequencies. The naming system for each line is not a traditional color, letter, or number name system but rather a nickname based on something relating to the line such as the destination, route, direction, line ownership, and more. The regional system is the longest system by track distance. It is mainly used to take people from rural areas and small towns/cities into the city for work, shopping, and tourism. It would have 30 minute frequencies with the exception of weekday rush hours, in which it would have 15 minute frequencies from 6 AM - 8 AM and 5 PM to 7 PM. There's also the tram service. It is mainly in Downtown and the area surrounding it with the exception of the Bergstorm Spur Tram. It would have 3 minute frequencies and would be mainly used to get to other services such as metro, LRT, and commuter as well as for short commutes. The last of the CapMetro rail services is the Airport Shuttle. It uses LRT infrastructure and is mainly used for people to connect from Commuter/Regional services but is also used by people taking the tram or other services. There are also several LRT systems ran by different suburbs including Pflugerville, Leander, and Round Rock.
