This is a map of a proposed service plan for the Northeast Regional created by Trains Are Awesome (https://youtu.be/WLq-_TVDzcQ?si=p8vmHd7sXXwYy5ZC). This proposal would split the Northeast Regional into 3 service patterns, the Regional A, Regional B and Regional Express. This would provide 15 minute service to the busiest stations, 30 minute service to medium stations and airports, and hourly service to smaller stations. Along with this new service pattern TRA also proposes flat-rate ticketing and streamlined boarding. Highly recommend you check out the video for more details :)
