This is a map that follows the fictional development of the Sacramento public transit through a story. It starts off with no public transport and the stories start at the fictional date of the 1st of January, Year 0. EXCLAIMER: ALL stories, people, and lines within this are FICTIONAL. ALL governmental decisions made are not political, they are only there to further the story. 1st of January, Year 0 The Sacramento Council received a proposal to start the Sacramento Association of Public Transport (SAPT). 5th of January, Year 0 The Council reviews the proposal and with 2 dissenting and 7 assenting voices, the movement passes. They award $500,000 to the newly created SAPT for busses and other starting costs. They also assign a small tract of land south of Sacramento for them to build their headquarters. 12th of January, Year 0 The newly formed SAPT has officially begun looking for more investors. An order was put in as well for 4 used Citaro O530 NGT buses for a total of $200,000. These buses are scheduled to be delivered on the first of February. 14th of January, Year 0 The Sacramento Zoo agrees to invest $100,000 in exchange for the first bus route to directly serve the zoo from downtown. 1st of February, Year 0 The SAPT receives its four Citaro O530 NGT buses. 4th of February, Year 0 The SAPT inaugurates its first bus route, 101, heading from Banfieth Park in Little Pocket to the riverfront via the Sacramento Zoo and Downtown. The route will be serviced by the Citaro O530 NGT buses every half hour. 10th of February, Year 0 After a successful inauguration of route 101 route 102 is also inaugurated. 1st of March February, Year 0 The Board of Sacramento demands that the SAPT have a line connecting the airport to downtown. 7th of March February, Year 0 The SAPT inaugurates Express 1, a service directly connecting the Capitol and the Aiport with no stops in between.
