Rainham & Hornchurch local area guide (1998)

A map I created based on the Romford local area guide of 1998. It mainly focuses on bus routes that serve Rainham and Hornchurch and is based in March 1998. In this era of time, Route 323 was withdrawn between Mardyke Estate and Cherry Tree Lane in South Hornchurch before being extended to Hornchurch, Madison Exchange via following Route 324 for nearly a whole year (it was introduced in July 1997) as well as having several journeys withdrawn. Most routes mostly remained the same in the transition from 1996/1997 to 1998, with a few alterations to timing or rerouting except for Route 323 mentioned above. I have not included Route 256 into this map because most of the route in Hornchurch is simply just following Route 252 and it just goes straight to Harold Wood and then Noak Hill. Once again, I have not included Route 510 like in the Capital Citybus Rombus Network map I made because Route 510 was not an official London bus route. School bus routes are not shown in this map but will be listed below with the bus routes shown in the map. I have also not included non-London bus routes for the simplicity of the map. I also did not include Barking, Dagenham Dock and such because I wanted it focused directly on those areas. I also did not include Grays into the map.
