Setting things up

This is what I hope Leeds, Bradford and the whole of West Yorkshire will someday look like. The most part of this map is made by Letter4 (go check out their maps).

There are 6 different networks on this map, all together completing the West Yorkshire Metro. They are:

1. Leeds Underground: A London Underground style tube network, frequency being around every 7-8 mins on every line.
2. Bradford Tube: Similar to the Leeds Underground, although less expansive, frequency being more like, 10-15 mins on each line, apart from the Central Line which is just one circle line taking only about 7 mins, so will only need 1 train on this line.
3. Leeds Crossrail: The equivalent to the Elizabeth Line in London. Starts underground in the city centre, and then goes overground for the rest of the suburban towns. Also contains a link to LBA and Yeadon. The frequency would be exactly every 15 mins.
4. Leeds Bradford Light-Rail: This is not a tram. This would be on the sides of roads in the city centre, acting like a tram, however in outer suburban towns, would run on either already existing train tracks, or newly built ones in towns such as Otley or Adel.
5. West Yorkshire Rail: This is using the rail lines already in place, and would extend a little out of West Yorkshire, and would increase the frequency of the trains.
6. Leeds - Skipton Water Bus Network: This network would consist of 2 water bus lines; 1 on the River Aire, and 1 on the River Wharfe. The Aire Line would run between Knottingley and Skipton and the Wharfe Line would run between Bolton Abbey and Tadcaster, going through Ilkley and Otley. This would be like a Water Bus rather than a Water Taxi, stopping for anyone who wants to get on, for around £3.50 - £5.00 for shorter journeys and £10.00 - £15.00 for longer journeys.
