Hier ein Vorschlag für ein Straßenbahnnetz für Osnabrück. Hier die Linienübersicht: Linie 1 fährt von Haste nach Düstrup. Linie 2 fährt vom Landwehrviertel bis zum Hauptbahnhof. Linie 3 fährt von Gretesch nach Sutthausen. Linie 4 fährt von Belm nach Hellern Nord. Linie 5 fährt von Dodesheide bis zum Kreishaus/Zoo. Die Linien sollten auf eigenen Trassen fahren und nicht abhängig von den Straßen sein. Natürlich gibt es dafür Ausnahmen, wenn es keine freie Fläche für die Trassen gibt. Es sollten Niederflurstraßenbahnen genutzt werden. Alle Linien fahren in einem 10-Min-Takt. Zentraler Umstiegspunkt von den Straßenbahnen sowie von den Bussen ist der Neumarkt.
